Remember MC Hammer? Famous for such profound (ripped-off) musical mantras as "Can't Touch This" and "2 Legit 2 Quit". Well, I remember seeing a "Behind the Music" story on him, explaining how while he was on top, he lived beyond his means even then, and after his fall, he ended up in dire financial straits. Well apparently things are looking up: I saw him on a low budget commercial for, ironically, a get-out-of-debt service called Fresh Start Network. In the ad he was about 10 inches tall and lived inside a guy's toolbox. At the end of the commercial, the construction worker whose toolbox it was asked Hammer, "why are you in my toolbox?" The answer: "Cuz I'm the Hammer baby!"
