Screw Aerodynamics - Think Inside the Box
Finally replaced my old hand-me-down ride last week. She was good to me, despite her mileage (224000+). But who could guess how much longer she could make it? As it was, I didn't have enough faith in the old Accord to take it on any trips more than 30 minutes away or so. So I got another Honda. An Element to be exact. A slightly used one. 2005 with 12K miles. So it's funny looking. But it has a lot of character. And you would not believe the stuff you can fit in there. For me, living up high in the hills, where it seems to snow all winter long, even when it's balmy at the bottom, 4WD has become a necessity. But with the increasing cost of fuel and given my loathing for all the enormous four wheeled behemoths out there and the frazzled, tailgating, cellphone-talking soccer moms who drive them, I needed to go small and practical. I have to say, this car kicks ass.
